In a terrible occurrence, a dog who had been gone for more than five months returned home only to find no one there to welcome him. The dog was left to fend for himself after his owners abandoned all chance of ever finding him and relocated.
When Max and his owners were playing at the park one day, Max had vanished. They searched everywhere, but they couldn’t find Max. However, Max’s owners also hired a dog tracker and distributed leaflets and advertisements on social media.
The owners of Max started to lose hope that they would ever find him again after a few months had passed. After a long search, they eventually settled on a new house far from their old one. They were unaware that Max was still living alone and outside, though.
Max was still there, so they returned to their previous home, but when they got there, it was empty. The new occupants of Max’s home were completely unaware of Max’s past history or where his prior owners had gone.
It crushed Max’s owners. In contrast to their expectations, they discovered a vacant house where their cherished pet had vanished. They had expected to bring Max home to a warm welcome.
After looking around the area and making a post on social media, Max’s owners finally got a call from a neighboring animal shelter. Max was taken in for treatment after being found wandering the streets.
Although they were glad to see Max again, his owners couldn’t help feeling sorry for him because he had been left alone for such a long time without someone to take care of him. With his tail waving and his lips slathered in kisses, Max was overjoyed to see his owners once more.
