Dog Walks 125 Miles With ‘Tears In Her Eyes’ To Find Owner Who Abandoned Her

Simply said, dogs are not something we deserve. Recently, a sad dog who had been cruelly abandoned only a few months after being acquired, went 125 miles to go back to the house she had known.

Manora, or Maru as she is often known, is a bull mastiff that a couple purchased from breeder Alla Morozova in Novosibirsk, Siberia, when she was still a five-month-old puppy.

Six months later, the owner contacted the kennel and stated that Maru was “allergic” and she was no longer desired.

Maru was placed on a train with a guard so that the couple could return her to her breeder.

But for Maru, the train voyage ended up being a terrifying and painful event. When the train halted 125 kilometers from her house in the Achinsk station, the poor dog suffered a panic attack.

The dog leapt on the compartment door, kicked the handle to open it, and nearly shoved the conductor out of the way, breeder Morozova told the Siberian Times. She bolted out of the door. She ran out into the night as soon as the platform door opened.

Sadly, Maru was unaware that she was being abandoned because she was undesired and only wanted to go home.

Maru got off the train without turning around.

Maru’s former owners were informed that she had vanished, but Morozova was informed that they were unconcerned with the situation and didn’t want to deal with her in any way, let alone care to seek for her.

Instead, they were indifferent; they weren’t even angry.

“I was upset by that. The dog is missing and that’s okay, so the owners weren’t at all unhappy. That was their response, according to Morozova. The weight was lifted off their shoulders when they gave the dog away.

Morozova started looking for Maru right away.

After searching for her owners for almost 48 hours, Maru was ultimately discovered not far from her former residence.

For two and a half days, she had been walking and running. Fortunately, neither wolves nor bears chewed her up, said Morozova.

Maru was found to be in terrible state. She even had a sobbing expression.

“Volunteers discovered her in a commercial area. The canine was worn out. Her paws were shattered, and she was crippled. The pads had been harmed. She had a broken muzzle. Maru went from the railroad embankment, according to Morozova.

She continued, “She didn’t flee to Novosibirsk; she wanted to return home. The fact that she made the proper decision is unexpected.

Maru is now receiving care for all of her wounds. Hopefully she will soon have a loving family and receive the love and attention she needs. Maru is receiving all of our love and positive vibes for her future and recovery.
