This is the tale of Biggie the German Shepherd’s River Rescue Mission. Hope For Paws got an urgent phone call.

An abandoned dog gets stuck in the Los Angeles River. The community nourished him for weeks as they waited for aid. There was no route in or out of the river for kilometers. (HV)

Unfortunately, the wonderful folks at Hope For Paws were unprepared for this one-of-a-kind task.

However, owing to the neighbors’ support, they were able to rapidly acquire the tools essential for this rescue effort.

It’s remarkable how fast he changed from being terrified to being your closest buddy, and all it needed was love and patience.
