The story is that on May 17, a mother dog named Koo gave birth to a litter of puppies, but the weakest and smallest puppy passed away that night.
When she realized something was wrong, the mother dog barked loudly, waking up the whole family. When the homeowner realized, they found a clean, empty place to bury the puppy. They did it silently so that Koo wouldn’t find out and be too sad.
The next day when Koo went to the garden to go to the bathroom, Koo immediately ran to the place where the puppy was buried, barked, jumped up, and dug in the ground. It’s truly miraculous why Koo can smell the exact spot where her child is lying
The whole family couldn’t bear to stop them, so they let Koo do what he wanted. Koo tried to dig continuously with his two front legs. When she saw the baby gradually emerge, Koo lovingly brushed away the dirt and dust, then licked the baby.
Seemingly unable to accept the fact that her child had passed away, the mother dog tried to revive her child by licking and touching her nose to wake her up.
All the family members who witnessed it were in tears. They did not know how to help the mother and puppy. Koo reluctantly placed his paws on the puppy’s body, looking at it forever.
Notably, this is the second time the mother dog has had to go through the pain of losing her child, the first time Koo had a miscarriage, so that time caused Koo to suffer psychologically for a long time.
The owner stayed by his side to encourage and comfort Koo, and reassured the mother dog to bury the ill-fated puppy in the ground.
Witnessing the story, many people commented that, “dogs can’t talk but it seems like their feelings don’t need to be expressed in words.”
Dogs are very emotional animals, and their maternal instincts make them even more sensitive. In the following days, Koo regained his spirit and took care of the remaining puppies. However, the loss is certainly not easy to ease, even for the mother dog and the owner’s family!
