Following her heroic defense of her 10-year-old master from a coyote, Yorkie puppy Macy has received praise.
Lily Kwan, 10, and Macy, 10, are shown in a video of the incident roaming about their Toronto neighborhood when a coyote starts to pursue them.
To save her young human, Macy now began to fight the coyote. Reporters from News 6 quoted Lily as saying, “I went to the pavement and started shouting for help.” Nobody seemed to be listening to me. Recently, I saw a coyote attempting to attack my dog, so I started ringing doorbells and knocking on doors. However, only one neighbor really let me in.
The owner claimed, “I really thought this little dog could protect this enormous person being, trying to fend off this enormous coyote.” I adore her so much since she is such a brave dog.
Despite having to pay a price, Macy was able to save Lily from the coyote. She was hurt, and she needed surgery on her body and leg.
According to Dorothy, “My dog will do anything for our family, so I’m honestly not shocked that she did that.” Our young heroine, she is.
Especially with someone yelling and shouting, she continues, “I never would have guessed a coyote would come out during the day. “Despite all of the screaming, it just kept coming at her and our dog; it was pretty violent.”
Although the loyalty of dogs has long been known, this is a wonderful reminder to never take them for granted. Hey, Macy, congrats!
