A mother dog’s incredible strength and love shine through as she survives being hit by a car during labor, delivering her puppies in a truly miraculous moment

This stray little dog is living proof of how difficult it can be to become a mom. Fuzz Ball Animal Rescue shared his heartfelt story.

A speeding car collided with the helpless chihuahua in the middle of the street. Her left hind leg was permanently injured. She was pregnant at the time of the collision. Her water then broke…

Her future child was too large for the injured little dog to give birth naturally, and she went into shock. Fortunately, she was taken to the animal rescue organization Fuzz Ball Animal Rescue.

After the puppy was born via caesarean section, the chihuahua’s broken leg had to be amputated. The family was saved, and the new mom is thriving.

She lived like a stray, was hit, gave birth to an overweight puppy, underwent a C-section, and had her leg amputated in shock! This little chihuahua developed into a true warrior.

After more than four months later, Xena has found her forever home! Her journey has been incredible, and she has proven to be a fierce fighter. We wish this incredible warrior dog and her new family all the happiness in the world.
