The Surrey Animal Resource Centre rescued Emma on August 1, 2021. The shelter decided to mark her first anniversary at the shelter. And the “pitty party” helped her get adopted.
The staff prepared a funny place and details for the dog to celebrate her day. The pitty party also contributed to her faster adoption. They wrote, “Emma wants to share her special day with all the shelter animals waiting for homes and asks everyone to consider adopting or donating today in her honor.”

5-year-old Emma enjoyed her time spent with the shelter staff. But she would still want to be adopted and have her home and loving family.
Thanks to the attention the staff drew to Emma’s situation at the shelter, more people were interested in her and took notice of her. There are already many applications for Emma’s adoption. Soon she will be with her lovely family.
