A rescuer from the Philippines, Ninja, took in an injured kitten named Robin. He was abused with scald marks on his face, chest, and lower back. Shockingly, someone had poured hot water on him.
“Robin was a victim of abuse. He had scald marks on his face, chest and lower back. The skin on his right cheek was hanging. Some evil human poured hot water on him,” she said on Facebook.

Robin Finds Sanctuary
Fortunately, the cat survived and found his way to Ninja, who today cares for almost 100 rescued cats and watches over many more strays in Manila. The cats often need expensive veterinary care, but she does her best to give them the care they need to thrive, as she has since 2017. We previously shared the story of her stunning calico named Pixie.
Like Pixie, Robin had a stunning transformation. With some TLC, the “little angel’s” wounds healed, and he gained weight, becoming a beauty who didn’t have to worry anymore. The cats here are gorgeous, but caring for all their health needs and finding homes is an ongoing and often expensive challenge. But as she says, “It costs nothing to be kind.”
With the proper care, the cat was so loving with everyone.
“He now gained weight and one of the sweetest rescue cat I have,” she shared.

Robin enjoyed living with the other rescues and got excited about a new cat house in the cat room.

Robin enjoyed life with Ninja and her daughter, who loves animals as she does.

Gentle Vet Tech Cradles Cat Like a Baby
Recently, Robin went to the veterinarian because he was drooling. Ninja was impressed with how kind and gentle the vet assistant was with the kitty. The man cradled him like a baby, and the cat looked at him with such adoration. Find yourself someone who looks at you like Robin looks at this guy.
“Robin is drooling and needs his blood tested. The vet assistants in the hospital always make sure the patients are calm and less stressed out.”
For New Year’s, Ninja shared the cutest picture of Robin, who appears to be as happy as any cat could be.
