Nicole Kincaid is the founder and director of PIPs and has a 13-year career dedicated to animal rescue. In an interview, she revealed that Meadow’s litter was the largest one she had encountered in her life.

The news of this record-breaking litter was shared with joy and excitement through a heartwarming Facebook post by PIPs, which featured a charming photo of the little puppies cozily snuggled up to their proud mom, Meadow.

Despite being born into such a large litter, it’s lucky that these 15 puppies are doing pretty well.

Thanks to the loving care and dedication of foster parents who are working round the clock, bottle-feeding in between Meadow’s nursing, the puppies have shown remarkable growth. At just one week old, they’ve all been gaining weight steadily, an encouraging sign of their health.

Meadow’s journey to PIPs began with a difficult past, and this requires PIPs to be more careful in choosing adopters.

Before finding her way to Perfectly Imperfect Pups, Meadow had been through five different homes since giving birth to a previous litter in February. According to Kincaid, this isn’t because of Meadow’s personality; he describes her as a sweet and gentle dog.

In fact, large breed dogs like Great Danes are often adopted without a full understanding of the responsibilities and care they require. Hence, PIPs especially noticed this issue, and they determined that this would be Meadow’s final litter so that it wouldn’t have any bad influence on her next adoption.

Moreover, they are dedicated to finding Meadow and her 15 puppies forever homes with caregivers who have experience raising large breeds.
